If you choose to also buy the plot through us, we will help you all the way, from the administrative aspects and applying for a building permit, to consulting with you and the architect to design a villa according to your needs. We at Red Palm Estate have chosen to work with a few, carefully selected designers, who have extensive experience and maintain high quality and schedules throughout.During the construction process, we will follow up on the construction, either together with you if you are here on site, or we will do it for you and send regular updates as the construction progresses.Here is a very simplified plan of what the steps usually look like when building your own house:-Meeting with Red Palm Estate to make a rough plan about what you want in terms of size and exterior design. We guide you with our experience on what is important to consider. Already here we can give an approximate time how long the construction will take. The time varies depending on how big you want to build, usually about 10 months to a year, the more square meters to build, the longer it takes.-Find a plot of land that you want-We make a more detailed plan based on the conditions of the plot and the architect makes a first sketch and a cost estimate-If you have not already bought the plot, now is the time-A first installment is made so that we can start the application process for a building permit, this usually takes 3-6 months depending on which municipality the plot is located.-When all building permits are in place, construction begins, it is common to make installment payments during the course of construction, for example when 20% is completed, you pay 20% of the total cost of the construction and this continues until the building is completed.-About once a month, a representative from Red Palm Estate will visit the construction and send pictures and updates.-The last 20% is paid when the house is finally inspected, turnkey and you take over. This is done at a Notary who registers the new title deed in the property register.
