The average housing price in Seville has increased by 7.7% over the past year

The cost per square meter in Seville was 1,776 euros, which is 7.7% more than last year in the third quarter, and 24.4% more since the minimum indicator, according to IMIE Local Markets statistics. As for rent, the gross yield was 4.5%, the highest in Cerro Amate.

A preliminary third-quarter report by Tinsa, one of Spain’s leading valuation companies, shows that the sale price of new and second homes increased in the province more than in the capital by 9.3% compared to 7.7%.

Seville is the third capital of Andalusia with the highest housing prices. It is inferior to Cadiz (2,054 euros/m2) and Malaga (1,830 euros/m2). In terms of price growth, which was 7.7%, it ranks fourth after Malaga (14.9%), Huelva (11%), and Cordoba (9.1%). Andalusia and Madrid are the two regions with the fastest growth: 10.6% and 11.3%, respectively.

The most expensive areas for rent were Casco Antiguo, Los Remedios, Triana, and Nervion. Triana is an area where significant changes have taken place over the past year (+14.9%), while accommodation in Nervion has become cheaper by an average of 5.7%, and in Casco Antiguo – by 1.5%.

The average amount of mortgages in Seville in the third quarter of 2021 was 117,744 euros. This amount is lower than the average for Spain: 136,662 euros.
