Sustainable modular homes: meet Kineki lifestyle

Sustainable modular homes: meet Kineki lifestyle

Kineki is a new patented construction method that uses simple, renewable, durable, and most importantly, eco-friendly materials. This architectural style allows you to be closer to nature through the means of your home.

Arquine’s specialists explain that this type of modular construction offers an incredible number of possibilities and variations. It allows you to build almost any type of premises in much less time than with traditional building methods.

In fact, residential units built with the Kineki system from suitable materials work like Lego constructors. This was achieved after six years of meticulous research and design work in collaboration with professionals from Amezcua, the Mexican architectural studio.

Julio Amezcua, founder of the Kineki brand, told AD Mexico magazine that all modules were 3.6 meters wide, long, and high, and could be easily combined with each other, which in turn offered many configurations.

Both Ametscua, the founder of the project, and the team of Kineki architects point out that the concept of the project goes far beyond architectural surplus. It strives to be familiar, simple, and functional, to allow everyone to bring their own personality to the house.

The name "Kineki" comes from the Mexican Nahuatl, or the Aztec language, dating back to the 5th century AD. It sounds like "quinequi" and means "he wants". It emphasizes the project’s aspirations.

This architectural approach seeks to draw attention to the fact that there is no need to create unique buildings, erect walls, and monumental structures, or use materials that are harmful to the environment in order to live a comfortable life. On the contrary, it is possible to create an original, unique home by bringing life to the living space through the selection of eco-friendly materials.

Speaking of the eco-friendly materials, of course it is about wood. These houses are constructed only of wood, the only sustainable and easily recyclable building resource. It does not release carbon during production and allows the architectural design to blend in with the wild terrain. This creates a special lifestyle that brings people closer to their "roots".

Kineki Modular Homes is an example of how residential units can turn towards saving the planet, as it is already happening in many other industries. These homes seek to create a balance of personal comfort and harmlessness to nature.

From the ascetic Scandinavian decoration by the "Scandicraft" brand, which is revolutionizing interior design in 2022, to solving the problem of building exteriors with the help of the Mexican Kineki, new trends are increasingly leaning towards eco-friendly development.
