The Prado Museum, Madrid
The Prado Museum is one of Spain's most iconic historical and cultural landmarks. The museum's architecture emphasizes the importance of the cultural heritage it houses. The building is designed in the neoclassical style and is considered a historical monument. It was commissioned by King Charles III of Spain and designed by the architect Juan de Villanueva in 1785.

It is considered the first Gothic cathedral in Castile, which was consecrated to the Virgin Mary in 1208 by Bishop Rodrigo Jiménez de Rada.
Built in the Gothic style, the cathedral is a magnificent example of French high medieval architecture. With its soaring vaulted ceilings, stained glass windows, and interior artwork, it has become not only a religious site but also a cultural landmark that cannot be missed. Among the sculptures inside the cathedral, the statue of Saint Julian stands out. He was a local bishop who lived in the 12th century and was canonized in the 16th century.
The facade was partially destroyed by a lightning strike in 1902 and was subsequently restored in the fashionable neo-Gothic style of the time.
Park Güell, Barcelona
Park Güell is a vast green space of 17.18 hectares designed by Antoni Gaudí between 1900 and 1914. The park seamlessly combines recreational areas, landscaped gardens and residential zones.

The Alcázar was built in the mid-1400s by the monarchs of Castile as their main residence. At that time, it served not only as a fortress but also as a royal palace. The castle played an important role in the life of Queen Isabella I. It was here that she was crowned Queen of Castile and Leon.
In later years, the castle's role changed. From the 16th to the 18th centuries, it was used as a prison, from the middle of the 18th century until 1862 as the Royal Artillery School, and in 1896 as the Military Academy. Today part of the castle serves as a military museum.
