Apartment in Barcelona, Spain 3 bedrooms, 112 sq.m. No. 200265

Located in the heart of Barcelona’s Gòtic district, on the peaceful Plaça de Salomó ben Adret, this distinctive 112 m² penthouse combines natural light, privacy and a remarkable 35 m² private terrace overlooking the rooftops of the Old Town towards Montjuïc.

The property occupies a 1900 building with a spacious lift and only two neighbours per floor, creating an unusual sense of calm and privacy for such a central location. The apartment is just a short walk from Barcelona Cathedral and Via Laietana, while the square itself offers one of the most peaceful settings in the historic centre.

The 77 m² interior has a practical layout that naturally separates the living and sleeping areas. It comprises three bedrooms —two doubles and one single—, one bathroom, a living area and kitchen, together with generous bespoke storage throughout the home.

All rooms feature windows and benefit from excellent natural light thanks to the apartment’s elevated position and southwest orientation. Recently renovated, the property includes parquet flooring, heating and air conditioning, ensuring year-round comfort.

The standout feature is undoubtedly the 35 m² private terrace. Elevated above the historic rooftops, it offers open views towards Montjuïc and provides an exceptional outdoor setting for breakfast in the sun, al fresco dinners, entertaining friends or simply enjoying a quiet moment away from the pace of the city.

A distinctive home for those seeking character, natural light and private outdoor space in the historic centre of Barcelona, combining the atmosphere of the Gòtic with a rare sense of privacy and tranquillity.
