Spain is characterized by a great ability to attract new investors. Although, there was a slight lull in the first and most difficult months of the pandemic, since then there has been a revival in Spanish real estate market.
«With the gradual return to normal life, foreigners are showing increasing interest in real estate located in Spain, which means an increase in the number of national investors. They view the real estate sector as a safe haven for investment», General Council of COAPI in Spain recognizes.
The representatives of Comprarcasa see a positive scenario: «Real estate investment continues to be the main investment for many Spaniards. It is not only about investing in the first housing, but also in the second or about buying in order to generate income from renting».
«In 2022, investments in the sector will continue, since, according to Bank of Spain, real estate, with an annual yield of about 7%, is a much more profitable asset than other financial investments. The yield on real estate is much higher than on other investment assets, such as government bonds (0.4%) or bank deposits (0.5%)».
