The average sale price of secondary housing in Aragon in July of this year was €1323 per square meter. The cost, which represents a monthly increase of 0.34%, but year-on-year it decreased by 1.18%.
Thus, prices on the market are usually moderate, which at the moment does not represent any serious surprises in the case of the Aragonese community, with small pronounced adjustments.
According to data for July, the Aragon region ranks seventh in terms of the cheapness of buying secondary real estate with an average price of €1,323 per square meter. This average price reflects a slight increase of 0.34% compared to June of this year, although, according to the monthly report Pisos.com about sales prices, there was a drop of 1.18% year-on-year.
The changes in the Aragon real estate market were more pronounced, but within moderate limits, than in Spain as a whole, where the average price of €1,848 per square meter of secondary housing recorded a monthly increase of 0.15%.
On an annual basis, there is a trend in Aragon that is the opposite of the Spanish one, since in Spain as a whole there was no decrease during the year, but, on the contrary, prices increased in the country. In particular, the growth was 1.96%.
In Aragon, the situation was different, as mentioned above, if we consider the three main capitals and three provinces of this autonomous region. In particular, in Teruel and Zaragoza, monthly price increases were recorded by 0.59% and 0.55%, respectively, while in Huesca there was a drop of 2.06%. This makes it the sixth capital of Spain with the biggest drop in prices for second-hand housing.
On an annual basis, the situation is changing, and Huesca becomes the capital of Aragon with the highest price growth with an increase of 7.47%, which is also the fifth indicator for the country as a whole. In Teruel and Zaragoza, prices also increased by 3.47% and 3.46%, respectively.
Taking into account these increases, the price of secondary housing in the city of Teruel increased to €1,262 per square meter, which made it the tenth cheapest capital of the province of Spain. It is most expensive to buy an apartment in Huesca and Zaragoza, where it costs €1,789 per square meter and €1,681 per square meter, respectively.
