Type of contract and justification for the temporary nature of the lease
This is a seasonal rental (art. 3.2 of the Urban Leases Act), not a primary residence lease. It is aimed at people who need accommodation for a documented temporary reason, such as a work project or employment contract in Barcelona, remote work during a limited stay, a temporary professional assignment, studies or a vacation stay. The reason for the temporary nature of the stay will be stated in the contract and must be documented. Duration: minimum 6 months, maximum depending on the future tenant’s temporary need and reason.
