Warren Buffett, the legendary investor and CEO of the American holding company Berkshire Hathaway, seeks to strengthen his position in the Spanish real estate market and become a leader in the luxury housing sector.
Buffett's company HomeServices Spain, together with the AX Partners investment fund, is targeting Barcelona and the Costa Brava. Recently, the construction of 28 luxury Mediterranean-style villas has begun in the Villpineda complex, located in the Barcelona city of Sitges.
Since the end of June, the company has put up villas, the cost of which is €60 million, for sale. They will be completed by 2024.
What are Warren Buffett's Villas?
The 28 villas in the Vallpineda complex will have a minimalistic and eco-friendly design. The exterior facade of the residential units will be decorated with white stone and light colors. Thanks to the large windows, residents of the complex will use natural light as efficiently as possible.
Single-family villas will offer spacious bedrooms, a swimming pool, parking spaces, and a recreation area with a cinema, a wine cellar, a gym, and a water playground.
In addition, a high level of security will be maintained in the residential complex thanks to round-the-clock security and a video surveillance system. Residents will have access to the Clubhouse located next to the villas. It will consist of tennis courts, a swimming pool, a bar, a restaurant, a recreation area, a gym, and many green spaces.
Sitges is a Spanish municipality and a city in the province of Barcelona. It is located 38 km south of the provincial capital, between the Mediterranean Sea and the Coastal Mountain Range. Therefore, the windows of premium villas will offer stunning views.
