The most expensive streets in Spain to buy a house

Although the Spanish real estate market has coped with many changes over the past decade, there are always enough areas offering extremely elite and expensive properties to buy. Housing is almost unaffordable for the average buyer.

According to a study by the Idealista real estate portal, the most prestigious street in Spain is located on the Costa del Sol. Thus, residential real estate in La Zagaleta, Benahavis, can cost almost 10 million euros.

La Zagaleta is followed by the exclusive "Calle Sant Carles", located in the town of Calvia, on the island of Mallorca. The average price of luxury real estate here is about 9.45 million euros. And La Moraleja in Madrid ranks third. The street "Camino Del Sur" offers real estate for around 8.43 million euros.

As you can understand, the most expensive residential properties are sold in Madrid, Costa del Sol and Mallorca. Nevertheless, there are many other places in Spain with premium offers. In August 2022, more than 40,000 residential units were put up for sale for 1 million euros.

On the other hand, there are also quite cheap areas for buying luxury housing. It is worth noting the streets in Castilla La Mancha. The average price here is 339,500 euros. La Mancha is followed by Extremadura (464,000 euros) and La Rioja (485,000 euros).
