Villa prices in the Balearic Islands, the most exclusive archipelago of the Mediterranean

Today, the real estate market in the Balearic Islands is experiencing one of the best periods in recent years. The growing number of remote workers, combined with other consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, has increased the interest of property buyers in living in "idyllic" places, remote and spacious houses.

In Spain, the islands of Majorca, Menorca and Ibiza are of the greatest interest to national and international buyers with similar needs. They have unique features for the Mediterranean, attracting diverse demand from foreign investors to digital nomads. There are lots of people who appreciate the peace and quiet of a remote life in the province, but with quick access to various leisure places.

Prices for villas in Mallorca

Mallorca (or Majorca) is the largest and most populous island in the archipelago, so there are many options for buying a home. Menorca and Ibiza are behind. In Palma (or Palma de Mallorca), the capital of the island and the archipelago, villa prices range from 300,000 euros to 15.9 million. This is a huge range of prices, with various housing options.

The most expensive house for sale for 15.9 million euros is located in Son Vida, on top of a hill overlooking the sea. This is a beautiful house with a large swimming pool. There are other local plots at lower prices. You can find a mansion for 13.5 million euros in the old town of Palma or a finca for 9.8 million euros.

Villa prices in Menorca

Prices for residential real estate in Menorca are much lower. It is the least populated island of the archipelago with fewer properties, barely a dozen, and little demand for them. The most expensive property will cost 12 million euros, but prices for villas can fall to 6 million euros.

Prices for villas in Ibiza

Ibiza is probably the best island for outdoor activities and parties in the Mediterranean. The range of prices on the island is very significant. The most expensive house for sale will cost 15 million euros. This is a magnificent villa with 8 bedrooms and an area of 470 sq.m.

In addition, about 30 villas and fincas are put up for sale for 10 million euros. However, there are also many properties worth from 2 to 5 million euros. The number of villas in this range is quite large, and there are plenty of options to choose from.

There are also many inexpensive houses in Ibiza, but luxury real estate costs from 500,000 to 600,000 euros. Although this offer will certainly not be as impressive as a property from 1 million euros.
