Seville City Council has expanded the affordable real estate fund

Seville City Council has expanded its public fund for affordable rental real estate by acquiring two more properties with a total investment of EUR 135,000.

The first property is a house of 60 square meters with two bedrooms and a courtyard, which is located in Torreblanca. The owners inherited it and sold it to Emvisesa for EUR 35,000 as part of SevilleLlena program.

Emvisesa has already acquired a total of 62 houses that have been added to the state rental fund.

The second property, which is located in the eastern part of Seville, was acquired through the right of pre-emptive purchase for EUR 99,900. This is a 64 square meter apartment with two bedrooms and a parking space.

«As part of all the programs implemented by Seville City Council through Emvisesa, 470 properties have been returned or included in the municipal housing stock in recent years», explains Juan Manuel Flores, President of Emvisesa and Adviser on Social Security, Employment and Comprehensive Social Transformation Plans.
