A penthouse of 100 square meters in Valencia or a small apartment in Madrid? Real estate for 200,000 euros in Spain

The same real estate budget can give you various options in different regions of Spain. They will differ not only in prices but also in quality.

3,990 euros per square meter in Madrid is not the same as a square meter in Barcelona, though at a more expensive price of 4,200 euros.

With 200,000 euros, you have many opportunities. It may be a small apartment in a busy area of Madrid or an expensive villa in remote areas of Seville.

So what can a person with 200,000 euros in an account in the Spanish real estate market buy? Let us give some examples.

Malasaña, Madrid — apartments

In one of the most popular and fashionable areas of Madrid, Malasaña, you can buy a small apartment of 32 square meters. It will cost about 185,000 euros.

The apartment has a living room with a kitchen, a bedroom, and a bathroom with a separate shower cabin. The apartment is furnished and has high-quality appliances: dishwasher and washing machine, ceramic hob, extractor hood, oven, and refrigerator.

The windows have double glazing, and the floor is floating.

The building was built in the 1940s, it does not have an elevator, but it is well preserved and is under constant care.

A big plus of such housing is its location in the heart of Malasaña. Banks, schools, bars, and restaurants. Public transport interchanges and commercial services. Everything is within walking distance.

Dreta de l’Eixample, Barcelona — apartments

The next candidate is perfect for married couples. The apartment is located in Sant Pere, near the center of Barcelona and a stone's throw from the Plaza de Catalunya. The apartment price is 184,500 euros.

For this money, the buyer receives a 61 square meter apartment with one bedroom, a living-dining room, a kitchen, and a toilet.

The house is designed in light tones and creates a light atmosphere for residents. The floor is parquet, the doors are painted white and lacquered. From the living-dining room, you can get to a small and neat balcony overlooking the small street Sant Pere Mitjà.

Not far from the apartment, there is a large ring road Ronda Littoral, the Boqueria market, and the famous Cathedral of Barcelona — the Cathedral of the Holy Cross and St. Eulalia.

Of course, being close to the city center, residents of such apartments will have quick access to a wide range of services and institutions: banks and supermarkets, pharmacies and sports centers, Jaume I and Arc de Triomf metro stations, and a library.

Nou Campanar, Valencia — a penthouse

A duplex, or a two-story penthouse, was put up for sale in Valencia for 195,000 euros.

The total area of the penthouse is 105 square meters. On the ground floor, there is a dining room with a built-in kitchen, a renovated bathroom in Italian design.

From the ground floor, there is access to a terrace of 35 square meters with laminate flooring, a Jacuzzi, and a gallery. The ceilings have direct lighting.

On the upper floor, there is a bedroom with a built-in wardrobe and a dressing room. There is another bathroom nearby.

The accommodation has all the necessary high-quality furniture. There is a parking space next to the residential complex, the cost of which is included in the penthouse price.

Medical centers and schools are within walking distance.

The buyer can also refuse to purchase a parking space and a Jacuzzi with a penthouse. In this case, the price will drop to 175 000 euros.
