The sector is making progress in areas such as augmented reality (AR), artificial intelligence (AI), proactive home automation, blockchain and tokenization, which is used to protect sensitive data.
«For instance, it is now possible to tokenize real estate, buy, and sell tokens, however, as discussed at the Third Blockchain Economy Conference held in Spain on October 25, blockchain platforms cannot yet replace the legal accreditation of the registry, they will only facilitate access to data on buildings by digitizing the real estate registry, which is currently maintained by hand in books», adds CEO of NAEA (National Association of Real Estate Agents) and Tecnoapi.
58% of representatives of the real estate sector admitted that in 2020, at the height of the pandemic, they introduced technological tools into project management. These tools are supposed to help combine images, voice, or two-dimensional digital plans, with information exchange, task management, defects, or protocol preparation, among other new and digital factors.
