Zeta District is a new destination in Malaga. This is the first smart "city" in Spain, inspired by the culture of generation Z. Zeta is a purposeful attempt to monetize trends, things, ideas and fashion, spread mainly among the youngest generation of real estate buyers — people born in the late 90s and early 10s. The age of the older representatives of this generation has already crossed the mark of 25 years.

Within the framework of Zeta, it is planned to implement an affordable parcel delivery system using drones, use wind generators to generate energy (approx. this energy will be mainly used to power small electronic devices, such as smartphones). It is also planned to integrate augmented reality tools into the digital infrastructure of the town, use various "green technologies" and much more.

It was announced that investments in the project should be from 35 to 40 million euros. About 3,500 houses are to be built in this quarter of Malaga, which will be able to accommodate up to 8,000 people. About 1,100 homes will be subsidized housing (VPO). Zeta is being built in Sánchez Blanca, near the Teatinos University district. According to Urban International, this will be the largest project expanding the built-up area of Malaga in recent years. The area of Zeta is more than 66 hectares, plus 70,000 square meters of green spaces.
