Exclusive property worth €65 million for sale in Mallorca

Engel & Völkers is selling one of the most exclusive properties in Spain, the €65 million Solitaire Villa, located in the upper part of the residential area of Mallorca, Son Vida, overlooking the city of Palma and its bay. The villa is the work of the Italian architect Matteo Thun.

In cooperation with the international developer Jens Liebhauser, the house was built on a plot of 4,250 sq. m. The building area is 2,300 sq. m. The villa has seven bedrooms, six bathrooms, two swimming pools and almost 2,000 sq. m. of outdoor terraces.

The Solitaire Villa occupies four floors with a floor-to-ceiling glass facade, which allows you to enjoy panoramic views as much as possible and lets a lot of natural light into the interiors. The facade is also a work of structural engineering: crossed steel tension cables are attached to consoles on the edge of two dark slabs between the upper and lower floors, which simultaneously provide support and protection from the sun. The living areas are located on the ground floor with views of the terraces, swimming pools and Mediterranean gardens. On this floor there are also two living rooms, a dining room, a kitchen, a bar and a wine cellar.

On the second floor there are bedrooms, with private bathrooms and terraces. On the floor above there is a roof terrace with an outdoor cinema and a jacuzzi. On the lower ground floor there is a garden, a gym with a sauna and a Turkish bath. In addition, there is a large garage with six parking spaces, and a separate staff area with two bedrooms and a separate parking lot. Each floor is connected by an elevator with a glass platform.

Gabriela Munoz, Director of Engel & Völkers Son Vida, notes that over the past five years, the Son Vida real estate market has turned into an ultra-high class segment due to the growing demand from foreign buyers for large, custom-built designer villas.
