The real estate market of the city of Marbella, the Comarca of the Costa del Sol, is in an extremely «hot» state today. Demand, sales, prices are growing. Against this background, Sierra Blanca Estates, the largest developer of luxury real estate in Marbella, presented to the public its new project — a megacomplex of premium villas with a luxury hotel and a large shopping center.
The new project, to which Sierra Blanca has given the name «Marbella Design Hills», is really huge. It will occupy an area of 80,000 square meters, and the number of attracted investments will exceed 250 million euros. The villa complex will be built near another project of the company — «Karl Lagerfeld Villas Marbella». SB Estates, at the same time, is already developing another large complex in Marbella called «Epic Marbella».
«Marbella Design Hills» will be the largest SB project in the city and will be located in one of the most elite residential areas of the city — the Golden Mile. It is planned to build 70 residential brand houses in the style of Four Seasons projects in Canalejas, Karl Lagerfeld villas or houses in another project from SB Estates— «Epic Marbella».
Sierra Blanca Estates enters the hotel real estate market
The new construction project is also the developer's debut in the hotel sector. The new hotel, which will be built together with villas and a shopping center, should receive a five-star category, providing future residents with 80 luxury rooms.
However, at the moment many aspects in the construction of this facility are not clarified. It is still unknown who will be the operator of the hotel, what will be the brand of residences, which restaurants will be open, who will occupy a beach club with an area of 2,000 square meters. However, it is known that a wide shopping boulevard with a landscaped embankment will be located next to the hotel. The latter will be used for the largest open-air art exhibition in the south of Spain.
«Marbella Design Hills» will also be the company's largest construction project at the moment, the debut in the field of commercial construction, since before that the company was engaged in the construction of shopping centers and other commercial real estate. According to SB Estates, four international design studios were involved in the work, among them a competition will be held, the winner of which will become the sole author of the design of the entire project.
The company indicates that the current work of the company is not the limit. Sierra will continue to increase its presence in the region and the volume of investments in the local construction sector. The developer has been operating in Marbella for more than 35 years, which has made it one of the pillars of the local economy. Speaking about projects within the boundaries of the Golden Mile, the company's representatives note that Sierra strives to make it an international phenomenon, a global point of interest for tourists, buyers and investors. Something that can stand on a par with the Design District and Wynwood, located in Miami.
