Cadiz to be among Spain’s top ten provinces with largest number of luxury homes

In August, Idealista property portal listed 774 prime homes worth over €1 million in the province of Cadiz.

According to the report, Cadiz will be among the top ten provinces with the largest number of luxury homes in Spain, 73% of which are concentrated in Malaga, the Balearic Islands, Madrid and Barcelona.

Out of 774 properties, the vast majority (684 homes) are valued at over 1 million euros.

There is even a more exclusive segment, ultra-luxury properties, with price tags exceeding 3 million euros. In the province of Cadiz, Idealista registered just under a hundred properties at this price, with most homes located in Sotogrande.

The portal’s most expensive unit for sale is a 15-million-euro mansion in Sotogrande. Featuring 2,250 square meters of space and several buildings, its main residence comes with eight bedrooms and nine bathrooms, a guest house with three bedrooms and additional bathrooms, and a four-bedroom staff house.

It is just three kilometers from the beach and close to world famous golf courses, polo courses, marinas and international airports. The mansion boasts Italian Renaissance style architecture.

Spacious outdoor terraces with several water features are connected by lush gardens and surrounding woodlands of over 60,000 square meters (14.5 acres). Impressive neoclassical halls of the main residence are rather practical.
