AQ Acentor builds 1,200 new properties in Malaga

AQ Center, a real estate division of the Aquila investment fund, has turned the province of Malaga into one of its benchmark locations in Spain. The proof of this is the construction of over 1.2 residential units on its territory, which will soon be sold and leased.

According to the statement of the division, the off-plan property will be ready to move in in the second half of 2023 and the first months of 2024. Residential properties are located in Malaga (city), Estepona, and Rincon de la Victoria.

"Malaga is a key market in our growth strategy," a company representative told EL ESPAÑOL de Málaga, stressing the need to "constantly explore the city and nearby municipalities in search of opportunities."

AQ Acentor is engaged in 4 projects in Malaga. The two 30-storey towers are the most important not only because of the estimated investment of €180 million (including the cost of buying land), but also because of their symbolic nature. Their construction on the Martiricos site began a few months ago.

Of the two buildings that will become an iconic part of the urban landscape, one is completely reserved for apartments for sale. In total, it will offer 252 residential units, the delivery of which is scheduled for the last quarter of next year. The data provided by the developer confirms that 75% of the units have been sold.

This is certainly an impressive figure, given the fact that apartments are quite expensive. Although they are relatively cheaper than apartments in Metrovacesa and Sierra Blanca on the west coast of Malaga. In these complexes, the cost of real estate above the 20th floor can reach €627,000 (3 bedrooms, 150 m2). At the moment, the developer keeps a secret apartment on the 30th floor.

In the Martiricos project, the second building is reserved for a hotel and rental housing. Hotel apartments will be located on the first 13 floors, and rental apartments will be located in the rest of the building. As for the 260-room hotel, it is possible that it will be 5-star.
