AKM is an independent manager of private equity registered by the CNMV as a SGEIC company («Sociedad Gestora de Entidades de Inversión Colectiva de tipo cerrado»). AKM is specialized in the structuring and managing of real estate investment vehicles.
Its investment specialisation consists of residential buildings in good locations in Madrid and Barcelona, which need to be adapted to the current market needs and demand. Currently AKM manages assets for a total value of more than €200 million through the five invesment vehicles it has launched since 2013 in Spain; AKM Real Estate I, AKM Real Estate II, AKM Real Estate II Plus, AKM Real Estate III and MB Value Added Residential Investments.
In order to offer AKM’s investors the highest return against the lowest risk profile possible, AKM has based its strategy on 3 fundamental aspects: 1) generate a significant deal flow in order to select the best assets, 2) add value through refurbishment of the assets (more or less depending on the assets) and through an efficient management of the tenants and 3) sale of the units on an individual basis (one-by-one).
We collaborate with private banks to create investment vehicles and we follow strict and demanding Corporate Governance and transparency rules and guidelines in the performance of our day-to-day activities and presentation of the necessary reports.
We are completely aligned with the interests of the investors, as we have co-invested with them our own equity and will enjoy our returns only at the end of the projects.
